Basic Bike Maintenance for Adults – Outdoor In-Person Event

Gain the confidence that comes with knowing how to keep your bike in working order in this Basic Bike Maintenance class. The class will provide hands-on instruction on how to maintain tires and air pressure, how to check and adjust your brakes, and how and when to clean your chain.
This class is not for diagnosing or repairing major fixes, but for helping you learn how to keep your functioning bike in riding condition.
Please bring your bike for a personalized experience.

Important: This is an outdoor event. We will not have access to the building. Please bring whatever you might need with you. There are no restrooms available.
If rain is forecast, we will call it 24 hours ahead of time,, and you will be notified via email. 24 hours before the event.

Note: The Dedham Public Library is happy to be able to provide safe, in-person programming again. We do require that patrons wear masks, maintain the social-distancing practice of six feet apart, and suggest the use of hand sanitizer before and after our programs.
Patrons that have tested positive for COVID-19, are waiting for COVID-19 test results, have COVID-19 symptoms, or have had close contact with a person who has tested positive for or who has symptoms of COVID-19, are not to attend in-person programs and should chose online programs, when available.
