Carnivorous Plants

Join us for an in-person presentation to learn about these amazing plants! Michael will talk about the many different types of carnivorous plants, examine why and how they’ve evolved to trap, kill, and digest their prey, and their care and feeding.  Michael will then introduce us to some of his plants–and the knowledge he’s gained since bringing home his first venus flytrap and pitcher plants twenty years ago–and cover the basics of plant cultivation.

This in-person presentation is open to all ages, and plant-growers of all skill levels.
