Food Explorers: Learn how to make Southwest Taquitos!

Join Food Explorers to make Southwest Taquitos! You’ll be using egg roll wrappers stuffed with filling and then baked to achieve a golden brown, crispy taquito. You’ll need the following ingredients: 1 onion, garlic, 1 bell pepper, 1 can black beans, frozen/canned corn, shredded Mexican cheese, EGGROLL wrappers (found in the refrigerated section/ethnic foods), plus optional: cilantro, cumin, sour cream, lime and avocado. Optional avocado can be combined with sour cream to make a sauce.
Food Explorers is for kids in grades 2-8. Parent supervision is recommended.
