Intro to Map Making

Learn the basics of navigation and the art of cartography with artist and wilderness guide, James Sisti.
Workshop Duration: 90 Minutes Take your adventure-planning skills to the next level! In this workshop, we’ll learn the different types of maps and their uses. We’ll also learn map anatomy, how to use a compass, and how to create a custom map to fit your adventure needs.
Start time: 7:00 PM EDT (Eastern Time) This workshop will be recorded for those who can not make the live event due to the time zone difference. If you do not wish to be recorded during the live event, please turn off the camera on your device.
This is the third workshop of our adult education Nature Drawing Series in collaboration with Hike and Draw, LLC. This is a donation-based event. 50% of the revenue generated from this workshop will be gifted to the The Dedham Food Pantry.
What you need:
Basic Drawing Materials (a pencil, color pencils, and a pen.)
Some scrap paper
Graph paper
