Watercolor Painting – Summer Series 2023

Painting with Watercolors is a wonderful way to play with color and lose yourself in the moment.

We will gain a better understanding of this amazing medium and challenge ourselves in the process.

Although these classes are not geared toward beginner painters, if you are new to watercolor you are most welcome.  There will be a variety of skill levels and experience within the group.

We’ll gather weekly, to delight in the variety of colors and techniques, and delve into concepts that will enlighten and inspire.

Urban Sketching – In Person

Join us for this opportunity to explore different parts of Dedham by creating art outdoors!

We’ll walk from the library and settle ourselves around town,  observe and focus on what is happening (the big things and the small).  Then, we’ll draw, paint, doodle, photograph, and/or journal about our individually chosen subjects.  No experience necessary!  Gianna will happily give instructions if wanted. Everyone is welcome!

The library will provide journals, drawing and painting materials.

Please register for each day you plan on joining us, in order to get details like where we will be going and any cancellations.  In case of rain we will make art within the library.
