Art Journaling – Drawing from Life
Keeping an Art or Visual Journal is a wonderful way to support your art practice or simply settle a busy mind and relieve stress.
All you need to begin is paper and a pen/pencil.
We will meet weekly to learn about and develop ways in which we can inhabit our journals, making them places of refuge, play, and discovery.
Seed ideas and prompts will be given each week, which we will ponder, expand on, and experiment with.
Whether we’re sketching, writing, doodling, or collaging…. you will find that you’re expressing yourself in your own way and finding those things that resonate with you.
And… doing this in community can be super inspiring and supportive.
