Dragons & Desserts

This is a read-aloud program just for rising 3rd - 5th graders!

Ms. Jenny is going to read-aloud the first book of the Legends of Lotus Island series by Christina Soontornvat, The Guardian Test.

The book will be broken up into manageable chunks so that we read about the same amount each week, finishing by the last meeting at the end of the 6th week. We will have some fun activities to challenge us along the way, and we will also have popsicles! If the weather is nice, we may even read outside. All of the reading will count towards kids’ summer reading minutes.

Children do not have to read aloud to participate. Each participant will receive a FREE copy of the book to keep. Registration is required, to make sure we have enough books for each participant.
